Our direction
Hardware specialists build robots with remarkable physical abilities. Kith aims to help them turn those abilities into products that learn tasks, adapt as needs change, and work naturally with people, without building the whole AI stack themselves.
KHUB.ai is based in New York. Kith is our leading product. It is at an early stage, and everything we have shown so far ran in simulation.
Founder
Kaihu Chen, Ph.D. brings decades of experience in AI and enterprise software to KHUB.ai. His work on Kith explores how robots can learn from instructions made for people, ask useful questions, and turn human guidance into lessons they can apply.
Join us as a design partner
We are looking for makers who want to build smart, teachable robots with us. What each partnership looks like, and what each side brings, we will work out together. In broad terms, you bring your robots and your knowledge of your customers and their jobs; we bring Kith and our engineers' help. Together we prove Kith on real robots, and our partners have a say in what we build next.
You don't need to arrive with an AI plan. A first conversation can cover:
- Your robot: what it is, what it senses, and how it can be controlled.
- One job your customers want it to do, and how they would judge success.
- Who teaches what: what your team would teach, and what your customers should be able to change.
- A first experiment that would show whether Kith helps.
